One of the tricks for improving Adsense income is to minimize CTR in order to maximize cost of click. Larger skyscraper ads positioned less visible will filter potential clickers from accidental increasing click value and eCMP. That experiment may increase your income. Adsense income eCMP report would be an actual indicator because impressions are always up and down. Every CTR increment is followed by eCMP, like on Adsense income report screenshot. With higher ad value your income on report will be also higher so do the experiment.
